Global Education Franchise Announces Two Richmond Students as Winners of North American Public Speaking Competition

May 28, 2018 Eye Level (myeyelevel.com), the global leader in self-directed learning, proudly recognizes two students from Richmond, BC as winners of its North American speech contest -- Jason Chan (Silver Winner) and Lorenzo Lachica (Bronze Winner) from the Eye Level of Richmond North.

The Eye Level Oratacular is a public speaking competition in which students learn and practice the basics of speech writing and delivery. The event was open to Eye Level members and non-members through free online registration (oratacular.com). Event materials guided students through the speech development process, while participating learning centers provided workshops and feedback.

The first round of the public speaking event was held at local Eye Level learning centers throughout the US and Canada. A total of 97 learning centers conducted the event with over 1,850 registered participants. Eye Level of Richmond North conducted the event on March 17th with a total of 65 registered participants. For the national judging, 85 student speech videos were submitted to the Eye Level headquarters in New Jersey to be judged in the national round (Canada and USA).

Eye Level Richmond North was the only center with two winners at the National Level.
